The Safety Cape

I got this cape from way back. I just haven't used it untill today. I love that it gives me a feeling that I am safe in it hence the title. I love the sheer fabric and the floral print makes it all the more of a gift from heaven that it already is.

The whole moving thing has been a challenge to me, I'm sure I have mentioned that so many times from my previous posts. But above all, I am truly very happy that I finally did it. Now I am actually working to keep a roof over my head and to bring food to my own table and It feels so great to have that big of a reason why you do things. This whole experience taught me a lot - considering the fact that I haven't even reached a month yet. It made me value what I have and it taught me how to prioritize and be patient. On top of that, it also made me somehow become even closer to my family. How ironic is that? I now stay online longer than usual to chat with my parents, I make time to hangout with my sisters and beloved nephews on weekends and I get to save up on chat over coffee too because I can just invite friends over! heeh!

There's so much to look forward to this year and as I watch January leave, I look forward to seeing more plans materializing this February. All is not peaches and perfection but right now I can say that there's little else to ask for.

Busy bee

I haven't been posting outfit photos lately because I have been busy moving. I was supposed to go out and take photos last week but lo and behold I was down with a flu for a week. But thanks to your sweet comments I'm all good now. I promise to make it up to you all! =)

Allan took this using his phone while we were lounging in Jacksloft. It was too dark there so please forgive the blurry photo.

I know I am taking too long to finish fixing everything in my place. I wish I had all the money in the world to buy everything that catches my eye in the furniture stores. I haven't shopped for clothes or shoes lately. I have been around DIY stores, Japan home, Ace hardware, SM homeworld, and home depot. It's surprising how I actually enjoy looking around places like these. I can stay there for hours! I swear designing a small place is never easy!!! But I am still very very excited to dress it up!

This weekend is going to be interesting because my sister is going to bring me to Dapitan. She said they offer a lot of good stuff there. Fingers crossed!

Oh by the way I might have to give up some clothes by selling them here so please watch out for that. I have yet to decide which ones. Sad! =( I'll keep you posted for sure.

Back to Basics

Hi Everyone! I haven't been doing much lately but organize my things in the new place. I have a runny nose proly because of the paint smell. I'm tryna squeeze in all of my stuff in this small studio type so good luck to moi!

The good news is I have spotted a few perfect corners to take photos for my future posts...yay! I just need to finish fixing everything so I would know where to grab my things. I'm tryna do it one step at a time. It's hard because I have to go to work in the morning so I only have the afternoon and a few hours at night to deal with it. Weekend please come fast!!!
