The Final Runway
None of the contestants expected that for the very first time in Project Runway Philippines' history, four designers will be heading to the Final Runway! Tune in on July 1, Sunday at 8PM on ETC to see Milka Quin Redoble, Cheetah Rivera, Nel Claveria, Jr., and Amor Albano as they compete to be declared Project Runway Philippines Season 3 champion.
Milka, a 34-year old online fashion entrepreneur from Pasig City, established herself as an early favorite when she wowed judges with her “butanding-inspired” dress and elegant jumpsuit to win the first and third challenges. Then in episode nine her dessert inspired dress won her, her third challenge and immunity, something that came in very useful when she failed to deliver an avante-garde creation. Having started on a high, Milka enters the finale having placed in the bottom group of designers for the past two challenges; will she be able to redeem herself at the Final Runway?
Cheetah, a 24-year old fashion designer from Manila, had a rocky start on the show as she learned early on that time management is crucial in the competition when she broke the 15-minute shopping rule while getting materials. In the food inspired challenge Cheetah found herself for the first time in risk of elimination only to bounce back to win the next three challenges and a spot in the finale. Her ingénue with material, out of the box design aesthetic and winning streak makes her a favorite entering the Final Runway.
Nel, a 30-year old overseas based fashion designer from Camarines Sur, impressed judges to score his only challenge win in the second episode of the season with his binakol made dress. After that he found himself facing the judges as part of the bottom group of designers three more times prior to earning his spot in the final four. Swinging from top to bottom constantly, Nel is the only finalist out of the four to have won only one challenge. With a strong technique in construction, what surprises does Nel, the season’s dark horse, have up his sleeve for his Final Collection?
Amor, a 28-year old fashion designer from Laoag City, was struck by home sickness early on in the competition as she appealed to the judges to let her go home. Refusing to let her leave as they saw potential in her work, Amor then continued on in the competition to win the men’s clothing challenge with her futuristic hoodie vest. Having started off emotionally weak, the judges have proven to Amor that her plea to quit would have been a big mistake as she would have ultimately missed out on the biggest moment of her career, a chance to show a collection at Project Runway Philippines Final Runway.
So, who’s in and who’s out? Tune in on July 1, Sunday at 8PM on ETC for the final showdown to find out who will be the next Runway Royalty.
ETC is seen on free TV RPN-9, Sky Cable Ch. 14, Destiny Cable Ch. 14, Cable Link Ch. 12 and Cignal Ch. 14 in Metro Manila. For subscription please call your local cable provider.
I met up my blogger friends in Greenhills for dinner before heading home. It was great to finally have the time to hangout even for a bit. Until next time loves!
Have a great Sunday everyone! =)

What I wore to BU3
Please forgive the late post. I am really busy with work and everything else in between. I know I told you about my new workplace. Well just recently I actually moved to yet another role which I am really very thankful for and very happy about. Life is beautiful especially when you're getting what you are working hard for isn't it?
On a totally different note, I am working on shaving some of the weight I gained over the last few months. Has any of you tried the lemon juice diet? Is it really effective? I'm getting really impatient now. Please help! =)
My OTD during the Project Runway Season 3 Finale is up next!

New Girl
I have been absent in the blogsphere for a long time and it feels like it has been forever. Here's an outfit post after a long vacation!
Top from Eunice and Skirt from Haze
Wooden necklace from Boracay
Anagon skull bracelet; Technomarine watch; studded leather bracelet from H&M
You probably notice how much weight I gained. As you all know, my dad came home from New York and he stayed here for about a month. It was the best time of the year for me. If not Christmas it actually felt like a month long fiesta! Anyway, aside from that I also transferred to another company which I am very happy about. (I guess that explains the office girl look) The only other thing about that is saying goodbye to the good friends I made in my previous work. But again I have a timeline in place so we gotta do what we gotta do yeah? I will stay in touch and I can do that in many other different ways. I promise! =)
So after a series of interviews and sleepless nights, I finally got the answer to my prayers! Since then, I have been busy studying and making sure I get full grasp of what I need to know in order to be successful.
That's pretty much what kept me busy. Work and a whole lot of time with my family.
By the way I didn't get a chance to thank everyone who voted for me in the most recent Parisian Bloggers Challenge. A lot of my voters were from work and friends from various other companies I have worked for in the past. A lot of them were friends that I bugged non-stop to vote while others were forced by my very good friends and family- kidding!lol! Many thanks also to my lazy friends who gave me their facebook logins haha! But I got too lazy towards the end too lol! You may not believe this but my blog was actually private before this challenge. So now I feel naked! heeeh!
I am beyond thankful for every vote. Again I appreciate everything from the bottom of my heart! Because of this experience I saw how supportive my friends, Allan, my sisters, my cousins, beloved pamangkins and my officemates are. Constantly texting me and keeping me updated of the numbers. You guys are so funny! This experience made me see a lot of things. Thanks again for all the votes and sorry for bombarding you with messages in facebook! lol! Until next time!
Will blog about BU3 next! Stay tuned! =)

These gold bangles pulled up to my sleves to match the collar tips are from Anagon.
Name ring from Anagon, Plastic ring from Girlshoppe

When I got there I was asked to register and by register they meant hair and makeup.
My pre-chosen shoes were sitting pretty on the table when I got in. I love how they added a personal touch to it by putting our names on. Clothing racks were provided as well. It was such lovely set up!
I was asked to choose a bag from the Parisian bag wall before the shoot. Choosing just one was not easy. They have pretty bags out this season. So if you haven't yet go check it out if you can. =)
Cocktails and food were served by Bizu during the event. I loved it!
Let me show you the set. Nikko Villegas made this easier for me because he would tell me what to do and what looks good. I am also most thankful to Bobby Carlos for working his magic on me. He made me look exactly how I want to look. And the bangs heeh! That's the fun part!
I am glad to have experienced this together with my other bloggers friends. I will post the photos from the shoot as soon as I get it. =)

Project Runway Philippines Season 3 Airs March 25, 2012
Project Runway is set to premier on March 25, 2012 and I was happy to have had the chance to attended the launch in Genting club Resorts World. I've seen excerpts from the 1st episode and I can't wait to see what happens next. It's gonna be sad to see someone go home too early. But from what I've heard, I think there's no guarantee that only one person gets eliminated.
What I wore that night. (Sorry no OTD that night--there's too much food on the table and wine was overflowing and it kept me busy. lol!)
Dress: Be Like a Star
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
Gold bangles: Anagon
Here's a sneak peak of their creation for their first challenge.

Oz is too cute!
Oh and I took a photo of Enzo, one of the designers, just because I love his necklace. He's really nice.
It was a great event. Very successful and well attended I can say. There's so much to look forward to this season. I can't wait to see Tweety host the show. During the event, she admitted how moody and mean she can be at times. I can't imagine! I definitely have to see that. Let me end this post by Tweety and Rajo's words. Ciao loves!
"...experience will give you the best knowledge. There's nothing better than Project Runway Philippines to give you this." - Tweety
"We're looking for the new star. So it's a combination of personality, talent, perseverance, and a lot of chutzpah." - Rajo
