Denim On Denim

It may be hard to believe that at this age, I have never really experienced riding a plane by myself. It has always been with family and the boyfriend and so I'm always used to having people do everything for me and I just follow them around like a poor dog. My Sinulog trip gave me the chance to experience being on my own and believe it or not, I found it very liberating. Makes me want to go plan a vacation for one!

Here's what I wore to lunch with Ana, Aisa, Nich and Mich.

Top: Paul Harris; Cut out denims: DIY; Belt: SM Dept Store; Necklace: Miss Sartorial; Sunnies: Rayban Aviators

Watch; Casio Illuminator; Yolo Bracelet from Anagon

Sneakers: Cole Haan  (please forgive my battered feet!)

Blooper shot: You can tell how much I'm enjoying the walking shot!

Some photos from Casa Verde

I had fish for lunch but I murdered it the moment it got served so no decent photo was taken. Here's what Nich and Pax ordered. It looks really really good. But I felt no love for meat for seeing and smelling lechon the whole time. Don't get me wrong, Cebu Lechon specifically Zubu Chon was really so so good! You should try it!

That's it for tanayt! Let me go daydream about my vacation for one. The only other thing about travelling alone is that no one would take your photo! Ahhh shit i just burst my own bubble!

I have quite a lot of DVDs in line c/o a very very good friend/special kid. That should keep me busy for the weekend. Happy Friday loves!

That Lazy Girl Is Back!

I forgot how fun it was to take photos and choose from a bunch when posting outfit shots. I know I've been a lazy blogger. But I'm back. I won't bore you with excuses for taking a hiatus. - slaps self!

So I was in Cebu for the Sinulog festival. It was totally unplanned. I met up with some of my very good blogger friends for our new year's dinner and that's when it came up. Being my "always available" self lately, I didn't really give them a hard time convincing me. Besides, it sounded really fun. And yes, it truly was! More later.

Here are some beach photos Ana took of me. (Thank you love!)

Shades: Rayban Aviator, Bottom: Nudo, Top: Gift from a friend, Hat from Boracay

Yolo Bracelet from Anagon, Watch: Technomarine

Necklace from Aisa Ipac

I have been busy dealing with change lately and I have quite a few realizations to share. While these are things that we already know, it still pays to be reminded sometimes. Allow me to use bullet points so I wont over share by explaining each one further and put you to sleep.

- words are powerful that it can encourage or destroy
- that it's okay to have more guts than you are given credit for
- that in this circus, no one is safe and safety nets are but imaginary and unreal
- that its okay to embrace imperfections
- that no matter what, you still get to decide what happens next
- that it's fun not to plan sometimes
- that smiling does so much for me
- and happiness is a choice

I know there's a lot more but I am too sleepy to function. Let's see some bloopers while taking my outfit shots shall we?

Good night for now loves! Happy to be back in the ballgame! =)
